A fast-paced retro arcade maze racer built from the ground up as a love letter to the golden age of arcade gaming. Race through intricate mazes, collect flags for points, and outmanoeuvre relentless enemy cars that hunt you down at every turn.

Gameplay

--------

Drive your blue car through the maze collecting all the flags to complete each round. But watch out - a pack of red enemy cars are in hot pursuit! Use your wits and your smoke screen to survive.

- Collect flags in sequence for increasing points (100, 200, 300... up to 1,000)

- Deploy smoke screens to stun chasing enemies

- Find the special S Flag to double your scoring

- Grab the L Flag for a lucky fuel bonus

- Watch your fuel gauge - run dry and you slow to a crawl

- Earn extra lives every 20,000 points

- Face off in challenging stages where enemies start frozen

- Compete for the high score table

This entire game - every line of C++ code, the Direct2D rendering engine, the procedural audio system, the enemy AI pathfinding, the tile system, the sprite rendering, and all game logic - was written using Claude Code by Anthropic. No game engine was used. Built from scratch using the Windows API, Direct2D, and DirectWrite.
